This model is highly adapted for early season fishing, smaller locations like bays, rivers, and canals, and situations where the target fish are selectively feeding on small baitfish such as juvenile Ayu (chi-ayu), Haku (juvenile Mullet), or Anchovies (Katakuchi).
The biggest feature of the GENMA Series is the swimming plate installed vertically on the front of the head. This achieves three things: (1) excellent start-up capability for immediate action initiation, (2) stability during swimming, and (3) appropriate swim resistance that allows for easily controlled operation. It is equipped with a proprietary weight transfer system to maximize long-distance castability. Furthermore, two types are available to suit different uses, ranges, and fishing methods.
